Tairāwhiti Museum is a museum and art gallery that serves the Tairāwhiti region on the East Coast of the North Island.
You can find us on Stout Street in Gisborne. We are open Mon – Sat 10am – 4pm, Sun 1.30 – 4pm.

Entry is $2 for local residents and $5 for visitors. Children 12 years and under are free.
Every Monday is free entry for local residents, and Friends of the Museum can visit free anytime.
We have a great gift shop, and a café, open from 10am – 3.30pm Monday to Friday, and 10am – 2pm on Saturdays.
